You behold the very essence of life, my life
My benevolent heart for once in all it's strife
Care not from the weary wanderings, it's resource
May I know from your sublime stillness, your recourse ?

Ever since my eyes could see and heart could sense,
Have seen you go on and on, into the deepest depth of my heart
Today in a minute's hiatus of my heart's beat
Did I realize, I belong to you, a part of my soul

Proud that I am, to know you flow for years to come
Into several days and several nights, touching the rare moment
How long ? How long can I hold you in my mortal memory ?
You beheld the very essence of life, my life
